Our center offers a wide range of advanced services, including chemotherapy, a canine blood donor program, and a fully equipped ICU. About you: 

Are you a passionate and skilled Board-Certified Veterinary Internist ready for an exciting new opportunity? Join our exceptional team at VSCNL on a locum or full time basis! We welcome candidates who are completing their residency and are board-eligible, offering robust support and mentorship to help you ace your exams.

As a Board-Certified Veterinary Internist at VSCNL, you'll collaborate closely with our internal medicine support team, which includes highly skilled Registered Veterinary Technicians and assistants. You'll have access to an impressive array of equipment, including 5 rigid and 2 flexible scopes from Karl Storz, a comprehensive in-house laboratory staffed by Registered Medical Laboratory Technologists, and advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities with an in-house 32-slice GE CT and a 1.5 T MRI.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• Board certification as a veterinary internist or board eligible 
• Licensed (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Newfoundland and Labrador 
• A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients 
• Outstanding communication skills, especially when dealing with clients 
• Ability and willingness to work closely and effectively with the entire VSCNL team 
• Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude are a must 
• Passion for what you do every day
