About Us   

VetStrategy is a 100% Canadian operated group of veterinary clinics with locations throughout Canada. We believe that veterinary clinics are an integral part of the community they serve and as such we put a large focus on community-based activities and initiatives. Every clinic we partner with is unique and serves a very diverse client base.   

The Animal Medical Centre North is part of the VetStrategy group of clinics located in Grande Prairie, Alberta. We are open 7 days a week from 8:30 – 5:30 and provide after hours call out to our amazing clients. 

Animal Medical Centre North was founded in 1997 and we have several different pieces of equipment that allow us to give pets the best care. Some of our machinery includes CO2 laser scalpel, digital radiographic equipment (including dental x-ray), in-house bloodwork machines and digital monitoring equipment. 

In the community, there is endless possibility for residents to get involved and connected! For sport and recreation fans, there is a wide variety of parks and trails to explore all across the City, as well as several state-of-the-art recreational facilities such as the Eastlink Centre.  A huge arts and culture community is also present in Grande Prairie, with venues such as the Montrose Cultural Centre, the Centre for Creative Arts and the Grande Prairie Live Theatre. And on top of that, the city has a great number of cultural and neighbourhood associations for residents to join!

What You Bring    

• The ideal candidate will have 1+ yrs of experience. 
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving veterinary practices and technologies.   
• Capable of handling a variety of cases and situations with composure and professionalism.   
• Relationships are important to you. You easily build strong and trusting relationships with clients. 
• Effective communication: You understand the importance of client relationship management and education in promoting animal health and can remain composed during challenging situations.  
• Empathy for animals and their owners is a must.   
• You work well in the face of an emergency cases. 
• You work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Everyone on the team is important and has a voice.
