How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team:

The Clubhouse Representative coordinates daily golf clubhouse operations, ensuring customer service protocols are adhered to while addressing escalated customer service inquiries and situations. The Clubhouse Representative supports the supervisor in providing the team with work direction.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily activities in support of daily golf operations.
  • Actively and accurately documents daily golf operation activities including but not limited to daily sales and banking, employee and visitor reports, general occurrence reports, rental agreements, event contracts, employee training etc.
  • Supports the supervisor with the management of on-site daily and special event operations.
  • Proposes recommendations to supervisor for revenue generation opportunities.
  • Assists the supervisor with the acquisition of supplies and materials related to tasks.
  • Provides guidance and training to team members on a regular basis, working with the supervisor to align workload and tasks.

 

What will you need to succeed:

Education (degree/diploma/certifications/licenses)

  • High school diploma
  • Smart Serve Certification
  • Food Handler’s Certificate

Experience

  • 2+ years of golf operations and event supervision experience in a golf pro shop environment.

Knowledge/Skill/Ability - Competencies

  • Ability to communicate effectively with tact and courtesy
  • Understanding and application of basic mathematical functions (e.g., adding, subtracting, measuring, money computation)
  • Ability to prioritize and take action on the needs of both internal and external customers
  • Basic computer proficiency in MS Office suite including online software such as MS teams, WebEx, and SharePoint
  • Must be flexible to work all required shifts, including weekends and holidays
