Reporting to the Manager, Print Subscription and Single Copy Revenue, the Subscription Analyst supports the initiatives of the Print Subscription and Single Copy Revenue manager. This is done by creating offers and campaigns to enable print newspaper acquisitions for The Globe and Mail and New York Times. The analyst role also reports on activities related to home delivery that will enable future planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Execution & Development
- Support the planning and execution of all home delivery acquisition and winback campaigns through email deployment and offsite initiatives
- Create offers in SAP
- Edit templates in Pagebuilder and transfer to Campaigner for email deployments
- Prepare emails in Campaigner for email deployments
- Work with the CEM team to test and review prior to deployments
- Create home delivery campaigns in DSW by applying correct offers and updated verbiage meet guidelines
- Update non-delivery area where necessary
- Prepare and facilitate notification of price increases to our subscribers by formatting and reviewing output files and ensuring that notifications are sent out on schedule by CEM team and through Office Services
- Provide necessary notifications to various departments on campaigns
Reporting
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting on subscriber activities, acquisitions and suspensions
- Run regular home delivery and single copy volume reporting for The Globe and Mail and New York Times
- Track acquisition composition using demographic target groups
- Track funnel activity for print online sales
Data Extraction and Other Activities
- Prepare reconciliation reports for third parties for rev-share analysis
- Prepare termination and order activity reports
- Run data extracts for price graduation analysis
- Support of B2B administrative tasks as required
- Other adhoc subscription reports upon request with minimal instruction
- Backup for monitoring single copy activity
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Detail-oriented and quality-control oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, especially in Excel and Powerpoint
- 3-4 years’ experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Doc)
- 3-4 years’ experience in an SAP CP2 and BW environment
- 3-4 years of basic experience in HTML coding
- 4 years’ experience using Tableau server
- 4 years’ experience working in Pagebuilder and Campaigner
- Knowledge of Environics Analytics Envision interface is an asset
- Knowledge of Digital Sales Workbench is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Familiarity with newspaper environment and/or publications and subscriptions
SALARY: This position is classified under Group K of the Advertising Collective Agreement.
