Civil Engineering Student - Summer 2025 Co-op (Bracebridge)

Tatham Engineering Limited has an opening for a college or university level civil engineering assistant to assist with daily operations in the office and the field in our Bracebridge office. The student will be primarily working in the municipal and land development engineering departments although some assignments may be in the water resources, water & wastewater, transportation or structural (bridges and buildings) departments. The student should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD as well as excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Data analysis and compliance reporting
• Assist with design calculations and ACAD drafting, etc.
• Preparation of applications for approval
• Compile and analyze data
• Assist with preparations of tender and contract administration documents
• Assist with construction inspection
• Miscellaneous engineering assistance to project managers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program
• Report writing
• Data collection
• Computer modelling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organization skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with AutoCAD
