The Opportunity:
The Content Writer is responsible for researching and writing original content that drives thought leadership and supports lead generation for Symcor’s corporate website and social channels. This position supports the Content Strategy function within Marketing, enabling accelerated go-to-market content planning by delivering relevant and timely materials that align with business and marketing objectives.
This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site 3 days a week, providing a balance between remote flexibility and in-person collaboration.
About The Role:
- Write thought leadership and lead generation content to support the overarching marketing and sales strategy
- Ensure content supports the attainment of key performance indicators.
- Ensure Symcor’s brand voice and guidelines are upheld for all content creation
- Work with internal partners to ideate and create content materials
What You Need to Succeed:
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in liberal arts or communications, journalism, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, and/or related fields
Experience:
- Expert content writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Writing impactful content in diverse forms to drive business goals such as articles for the company blog, video scripts, web pages, landing pages, emails, one-pagers, sales enablement materials, and more.
- Experience developing content within the financial services, or highly regulated industry
Skill requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong editorial judgment, writing, and editing skills
- Deep understanding of SEO best practices for content
- A keen eye with excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
