The Opportunity

This role is responsible for maintaining the framework for continuous improvement through the creation of quality procedures, job observations, and acting as the process automation Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the quality program.

We are looking for candidates who are comfortable and flexible working across all three shifts (morning, afternoon, and night). This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site 3 - 4 days a week.

About The Role:

• Responsible to promote, identify and capitalize on continuous improvement opportunities within production environment through the application of Lean Six Sigma philosophy and tools
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping/analysis sessions; process re-engineering; rapid improvement; and JDIs (Just-Do-It simple improvements)
• Train all levels of leadership, and production employees within the business unit (LOB), on Lean and Quality basics, to include quality processes and procedures
• Develop and maintain documentation to support the Quality Program, to include SOPs, SWIs, User Guides and Quality Alerts
• Support day-to-day functioning of Lean and Quality principles within operations
• Monitor and audit the Quality Management System (QMS)

What You Need To Succeed:

Education:

• Post secondary education in Business, Engineering or relevant discipline
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt- or working toward

Experience:

3+ Years experience in delivering quality and efficiency results.

Skill requirements:

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or working towards it
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI
