We are seeking a high performing Manager to join our Professional Services team. The successful candidate can be located anywhere in United States in close proximity to a major airport and will report to the Senior Managing Director.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Working alongside other Managers and the Senior Managing Director, you will set goals, develop the team business plan, and deploy initiatives and actions that ensure the realization of these goals and key performance indicators. You will provide leadership, training, coaching and management to employees and collaborate with Directors, Managers and Senior Managing Directors to delegate client assignments. You will also be responsible for conducting site inspections and preparing Appraisal Reports (value estimates) and Insurance Appraisals (cost estimates), on a wide variety of buildings and machinery and equipment in locations across the United States and on occasion globally. You will review and sign off on reports, ensuring assignments align with industry standards and Suncorp’s brand promise. The role requires 30-40% regional and national travel and occasional international travel.

You are willing and able to travel regionally, nationally and globally and possess a valid passport and driver’s license.

You have the following credentials:

- Full proficiency in English (reading, writing and oral instructions). Additional language proficiency is a plus;

- Post-secondary education;

- Hold an American Society of Appraisal (ASA) designation in good standing

- Relevant experience with project management and supervising others are assets;

- Significant progressive experience applying valuation models; and

- A combination of education, experience and designations(s) will be considered.
