Senior Financial & Costing Analyst 

Reports directly to the Costing and Projects Manager. The Senior Financial & Costing Analyst will be an integral part of the Finance team and will be responsible for a variety of accounting matters to support the financial state of the Company. 

Education 

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance;
  • Knowledge in Sage 300 ERP or similar accounting software; and 
  • CPA Designation is an asset. 

Years of Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of management accounting experience in the construction industry.

Job Specific Duties 

  • Responsible for the preparation of the consolidated monthly financial close; 
  • Understanding of POCM Accounting and Revenue Recognition; 
  • Responsible for participation in preparation of Sales and COS annual budget
  • Oversee variance analysis for Sales, COS, and Gross Margin on a monthly basis in comparison to budget; 
  • Oversee Revenue Recognition model and analyze key projects; 
  • Conduct monthly inventory Audits; 
  • Lead monthly COS budget meetings with key stakeholders; 
  • Identify, analyze, and reduce inefficiencies in Manufacturing/Installation process; 
  • Responsible for quarterly Forecasting; 
  • Responsible for Cost Accounting function; 
  • Ad hoc projects; and 
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Costing and Projects Manager.
