Regional Account Manager - Markham

 

 

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director National Field Sales, the Regional Account Manager will take sales ownership of managing Longo’s Deli/Frozen categories and is responsible to establish/achieve the annual volume/price targets with Longo’s. Additionally, this position will also own the Sales of seconds and close to code products by developing new customers, working directly with existing customers and collaborating with the Sofina Commercial team. 

   

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Development of annual business plan in support of annual goals and objectives with Longo’s;
  • Establish new listings and develop category business with Category Managers;
  • Effectively manage trade spend to activate and grow sales;
  • Develop customer presentations, business reviews and proposals with the goal of retaining existing business and driving new sales;
  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships within multiple departments;
  • Supporting Field Sales Team as it relates to field sales activity with Longo’s;
  • Sell seconds and close to code items for the maximum achievable price;
  • Manage visibility and action plans for SKUs that require immediate attention;
  • Work across departments to reduce impact of seconds and close to code sales to Sofina;
  • Develop new customers for seconds and close to code items;
  • Develop a consolidated inventory report to view all inventory and their respective details to analyze for seconds and close to code items.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis, analytical mind with strong attention to detail;
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication abilities.
