ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of Licensing Royalty Allocation Intern on the Royalty Collections team is responsible for entry, adjustments and validation of media licensing reports and re-runs, while supporting the business development team with various tasks to support the licensing of those that are unlicensed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review media licensing reports received for completeness and accuracy
• Enter media licensing reports
• Enter adjustments for previously entered reports and invoices
• Validate license fee calculations
• Conduct music use logging tasks
• Build lists, profiles and collect data for unlicensed services
• Coordinate activities with Account Managers in Royalty Collections
• Proactively advise team lead of potential processing and efficiency improvements.
• Other duties, as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Graduated / Enrolled in a Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
• Attention to detail
• Interest in financial data
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and ability to multi-task
• Bilingual in French and English (an asset)
