Database & Research Coordinator (Client Services)

 

Permanent Full-Time, $37,300-$42,000, benefits, pension, bonus

We’re hiring a Database & Research Coordinator who will support Science North in achieving its mission by maximizing value for the organization’s supporters through establishment and management of customer relationship management system (CRM) , development of impactful reports, management of critical donor communications and researching best practices and prospects.

 

Reporting to the Director of Development, the chosen candidate will also be responsible for ensuring Science North’s sponsors and donors receive optimal recognition for their investments. You’ll be joing a growing team and will benefit from significant training time and professional development.  This role is a great start to a potential career in customer services, fundraising/advancement services.

 

As the successful candidate you will play a pivotal role on the team by ensuring timely and accurate statistics, reporting and analytics of donor and prospect information all critical to presentations, funding updates and donor recognition.

Here is how you will spend your time:

  • Updating and maintaining CRM, analyzing data and creating reports
  • Developing and implementing plan and systems to improve the donor journey, recognition and reporting analytics
  • Researching and prioritizing prospects and prospect tracking
  • Supporting fundraising events throughout the year, including the annual fundraising gala
  • Coordinating campaigns and developing marketing assets in collaboration with marketing team
  • Updating digital content, such as links, third party promotional sites, graphics etc.

 

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Experience with information, data management and donor financial reporting
  • A post-secondary degree and/or diploma that lends to the position or 2+ years’ experience working in a similar or related role
  • Experience working with a CRM or other large database
  • Superior skill in using Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster productive working relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and outstanding organizational skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • A valid G driver's license in good standing with a 3-year clean driving abstract

 

This position is based out of 100 Ramsey Lake Road, Sudbury and is not suitable for remote work.
