Are you passionate about STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics? Do you have a keen interest in science and love sharing your knowledge with others? Does working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a great team sound like it's right for you? If so, we would like to hear from you! Science North is currently recruiting Science Demonstrators for the duration of our next Special Exhibit.
The upcoming Special Exhibit called Brick Master’s Studio: Build with LEGO Bricks like a pro, will open in February of 2025 and run until Labour Day, 2025. This exhibit features the art of Sean Kenney, renowned LEGO brick artist. Science Demonstrators for the exhibit will engage visitors in this fun intersection of art and science.
The successful candidate will share their passion and wow our visitors in an immersive environment. Candidates must have a keen interest in science with a willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
This part-time position is suitable for individuals with daytime weekday availability and part-time availability on weekends and school holidays.
Science North provides services in both official languages. Fluency in spoken French is an asset but not a requirement for this position.
