PURPOSE OF POSITION:                

This position is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing team and Red River Mutual brokers by handling a variety of administrative duties, coordinating meetings and activities, and coordinating broker training. This individual requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

  • Responsible for the coordination of training sessions to the broker network
  • Maintain Red River Mutual University course content and distribution of broker credit hours
  • Provide support to brokers with RRM University
  • Assist in providing communication and messaging to our broker partners and internal teams
  • Oversee the setup of new brokers in our system and intake any technology issues and concerns
  • Ensure brokers have proper access to the Red River Mutual website and can navigate it effectively
  • Set up tasks and manage schedules using Microsoft Teams Planner.
  • Coordinate and organize department meetings and activities, including scheduling and preparing agendas.
  • Assist the Team with Red River Mutual events and Sponsorships
  • Attend Red River Mutual Industry events as required
  • Maintain and update Corporate Contact and Distribution lists
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business Development and marketing team as needed.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Post-secondary education in business or related field considered an asset 
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience. 
  • Customer service oriented and results focused 
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent time management, planning and task prioritization ability. 
  • Strong analysis, critical thinking, judgement and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
