Location:
Delta, British Columbia (Hybrid/Flexibility policy – we require a presence of 2 days / week at the office).
Status: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative based out of Delta, British Columbia, with a possibility to work from home as per our Flexibility/Remote Work Policy. In this position, you will have the opportunity to be part of a professional, fun, innovative, and determined team permanently.

 

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with our customers, taking orders, and following up on them. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with our sales team to achieve the highest level of customer service. You will initiate collaboration between shipping, receiving, accounting and the procurement/logistics department.

 

This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and solution-oriented position. We are looking for someone with a positive and professional attitude who will provide dedicated and impeccable customer service. What would be your main responsibilities as Customer Service Representative?

  • Communicate with customers via phone and email.
  • Processing and validating customer orders in Quadra’s ERP system and following up needs and requests through Salesforce.
  • Monitoring orders through the sales cycle to ensure on time delivery to customers.
  • Proactively communicate any service issues or delays to customers, offering solutions and suggestions.
  • Ensuring that customer requests and issues are handled satisfactorily and in accordance with the companies’ guidelines.
  • Assisting customers with requests and inquiries; documentation, pricing, samples. Etc.
  • Working collaboratively with your assigned Accounts Managers to connect to customers’ needs and issues within the Chemical Manufacturing space.
  • Ensuring customer details and requirements are maintained and communicated internally.
  • Working in synergy with other departments to ensure full customer focus.
  • Following best practices, procedures, and customer excellence standards.

 

 Here’s the requirements needed to have success in this role:

  • A postsecondary diploma in administration, business, communication or in a related field would be an asset.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience as Customer Service experience in a distribution, logistic or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience of strong communication over the phone and via email.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a passion to succeed; compassion, integrity, and honesty are very important qualities to have.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • A desire to work in an environment where decisions must be made quickly and under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite and with an order and inventory system; Experience on JD Edwards and Salesforce would be considered as a strong asset.

British-Columbia Applicants: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $42,600 to $63,800. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

 

Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits. Quadra’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. Please note that the base pay shown qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
