We’re looking for our next Compliance Analyst. Could it be you?

 

 The Compliance Analyst will work closely with the Manager, Compliance, Compliance Officers and business units to ensure that the organization remains compliant with applicable regulatory requirements. The incumbent will support ongoing maintenance and enhancement to the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program, which includes supporting the monitoring and implementation of regulatory changes, risk assessment and monitoring and testing programs, issues management, training and reporting in accordance with our documented policies and procedures.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Compliance team in ensuring all areas of regulatory compliance are adhered to by the organization.

  • Work alongside Compliance Officers in supporting business units in the day-to-day application of policies and procedures, providing advisory for case escalations and incident management, reviewing correspondence, and recommending process improvements as deemed necessary.

  • Assist in monitoring legislative and regulatory updates, documenting controls, policy and procedure updates, compliance testing and monitoring and issue remediation across the organization.

  • Aid in documentation management and record retention process across the company. 

  • Support the maintenance and enhancements to the RCM program including maintenance to the RCM library (eGRC system).

  • Work alongside Compliance Officers to develop and track compliance training

  • Other adhoc responsibilities relating to the role

  • Have experience working in a financial institution 

  • Have the ability to gather, analyze, organize, document and present large volumes of information in a succinct and organized manner

  • Have working knowledge of retail banking products

  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle simultaneous projects and meeting deadlines

  • Have high ethical standards and integrity

  • Have a natural curiosity and drive to learn

  • Have analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Are organized and have great time management skills

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Are proficient in technology related programs (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets / G-Suite tools,)

 

Additional information:

 

  • Please note this role will be required to be in office 3 days a week.
