The Senior Manager, Strategy is a critical leader reporting into the Director, Strategy, responsible for leading the development and execution of the organization's strategic vision. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and inspire across the organization.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Strategic planning: Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s long-term strategic plan. This includes working with key leaders across the organization to identify future opportunities and threats, develop and assess strategic options, and determine the near- and long-term roadmap. 

  • Complex problem solving: Provide resources and expertise to Journey leaders as needed to support business line specific strategic opportunities & challenges, including growth, innovation, efficiency and operations.

  • Value creation: Approach the evaluation of new business opportunities (e.g., build / buy / partner decisions) with the aim of maximizing enterprise value creation. Lead due diligence and negotiation efforts when necessary. 

  • Financial Analysis: Evaluate the financial viability of strategic initiatives and investment opportunities in collaboration with finance. Develop and consume business cases and financial models to support decision-making.

  • Executive Facilitation: Support planning and facilitation of executive-level meetings and workshops with thorough planning and coordination 

  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate the organization's strategic vision and priorities effectively to all levels of the organization. Foster a culture of collaboration and alignment around strategic goals.

  • Have 5+ years of work experience in investing, management consulting, corporate strategy, or enterprise analytics, with proven track record of leading and executing successful strategic initiatives

  • Have exceptional communicator and strategic, analytical thinker 

  • Holds strong analytical capabilities with an outstanding attention to detail

  • Have an ability to bring structure and rigor to ambiguous strategic problems

  • Have an ability to quickly assimilate large amounts of information; effectively comprehend, synthesize, analyze, structure and facilitate strategic decision making

  • Have demonstrated experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner

  • Have solid business acuity, professionalism, and integrity

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple competing initiatives

  • Are comfortable communicating with all levels of leadership and staff and articulating their point of view

  • Have influencing skills, including ability to influence upwards and influence decision making

  • Have sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
