We’re looking for our next Accounting Supervisor. Could It Be You?
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting for the Brazilian entity in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and compliance with local regulations.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Preparation of financial reports for the local Brazilian entity, with some assistance provided for a Uruguay subsidiary with limited activity

Responsible for timely review and closings of monthly financials
-
Day to day general ledger entry booking into the financial system (NetSuite)
-
Coordinate banking activities and perform bank reconciliations
-
Responsible for monthly and annual filings (DCTF, DIRF, ECD, ECF, etc)
-
Oversee month-end lease reconciliation and fixed assets record creation
-
Responsible for intercompany reconciliations and invoicing
-
Responsible for preparation of other balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining support for all balances
-
Maintain compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws
-
Proactively and continuously review existing processes and procedures for areas of improvement
-
Establish internal control policies and ensure adherence to such policies
-
Ensure accurate reporting on all financial expenditures and accounts payable
-
Oversee communications with regulators and other local authorities
-
Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets
-
Other duties as assigned.

University degree in accounting (Active CRC is mandatory)
-
5+ years’ experience working with Brazilian accounting and tax regulations
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
-
Excellent English and Portuguese written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to take initiative with a curious mind-set and work independently with minimal supervision
-
Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is an asset but not required
-
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is an asset
