Media Strategy (Inclusive of both offline and online)

Define & implement a holistic strategy encompassing all paid channels, with a digital-forward focus

Translate marketing and business goals to actionable media campaigns with a focus on overall lead acquisition and efficiency

Align with Marketing Strategy, Brand, and Product on which campaigns are considered high priority.

Work closely with internal teams to integrate and execute paid media strategies (e.g. search, social, programmatic).

Overall optimization across channels to ensure dollars are being spent in an efficient manner

Analyze business and campaign results across channels and report on performance, actionable insights & learnings to all shareholders on a timely basis

Manage the Media Budget and Media Plans to support in decisions around tactics and budget allocation to drive acquisition

Analyze and identify trends, formulate insight, conclusions and recommendations to drive continuous improvement in our acquisition efforts

Monitor the competitive and technology landscape to provide regular recommendations on media trends and capabilities, and ensure continued innovation of capabilities at Questrade

Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all objectives are being met and transparency is available for all current projects

Work closely with external partners and vendors to form strong relationships, stay up-to-date on latest product offerings and insights, and leverage all channels to drive incremental acquisition outcomes
Digital Media Operations

Responsible for roadmap definition, administration, and operation of digital media platforms

Define marketing audiences and strategies on how to reach them through the paid media ecosystem

Perform QA of digital assets prior to launch, including display and video content and 3rd party ad tags and pixels.

Develop testing/optimization strategy, process, and schedule
Data & Analytics

Defines, drives, and leverages data and analytics to optimize media performance across Questrade’s acquisition channels

Monitor attribution and analytics, with a focus on CPL, Reach, & Engagement
-
Support in the development of the measurement strategy of digital media campaigns across relevant platforms and channels
-
Support in the development of tagging specifications to support digital media measurement and optimization strategies
-
Maintain regular reports and KPI dashboards for both marketing team, and executives to track performance towards set targets and objectives
Q.com Evolution
-
Work closely with website teams to ensure customer journey is seamless from off-site to on-site
-
Identify any areas which can be added to Q.com to help the consumer journey be more seamless from off-site media
-
Identify different needs and paths for different digital audiences and ensure content exists on Q.com to satisfy needs of paid digital audiences

4-6 years of digital planning experience at a media agency or marketing acquisition strategy role
-
Clear understanding of all different media channels, with a primary focus on digital channels, and their role in the consumer journey
-
Experience in developing strategies for digital campaigns which are a part of bigger multi-channel initiatives
-
Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business
-
Strong data analytics and strategy background
-
Ability to identify, document and communicate insights and recommendations
-
Hands on experience in marketing project management
-
Take ownership of tasks and drive projects through to completion
-
Reliable self-starter with attention to detail and passion for quality
-
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills
-
Have an insatiable curiosity and a constant drive to learn and improve
-
Up to date with all emerging digital trends and issues
-
Previous experience in financial services
-
Worked on large marketing accounts with multiple LOB
-
Ad Operations Skills - tagging, troubleshooting, etc.

Experience with digital media buying platforms
-
Experience with site analytics tools
-
Experience with media and consumer research platforms and tools
