The Director, Marketing Strategy is a dynamic and strategic leader responsible for driving the organization's marketing initiatives and achieving business objectives for their respective lines of business. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and the latest industry trends. This individual will play a key role at the journey leadership table by participating and helping inform the strategy and annual goal development of the business.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Lead the development, execution, refinement and communication of our comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our mission, vision, and values.
- Drive the strategy, plans, budget and executions that deliver on annual targets and set the stage for continued growth
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify target audiences, understand their needs, and develop customer personas.
- Help define and develop specific consumer segments and their valued behaviors to help deliver growth.
- Ensure our value proposition and messaging differentiates the product/service in the marketplace, to resonate with the target customers, and support the broader company vision and objectives.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous innovation and collaboration within the marketing team, encouraging experimentation and creativity to drive growth and market differentiation.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources strategically to optimize ROI and maximize campaign impact.
- Stay informed about emerging marketing technologies and trends, incorporating innovative solutions into marketing strategies to enhance effectiveness.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance using data-driven insights, continuously refining strategies based on results and customer feedback.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional marketing team, journey and mission teams, and technology team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the broader marketing team, sales and service, and journey and mission leaders, to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive and well-integrated across all channels.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to senior marketing managers, promoting their growth and development.

- Have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Have 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful B2C and B2B2C marketing strategies that have significantly contributed to business growth.
- Have financial services industry experience.
- Have a proven ability to set annual and quarterly plans and prioritize team projects and workload.
- Have a strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Have exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Are proficient in analyzing data to derive actionable insights, leveraging data to inform decisions, optimize campaigns, and demonstrate the impact of marketing initiatives on business outcomes.
- Have deep expertise in digital marketing, lead generation, and customer lifecycle management.
- Have a solid understanding of the intricacies of the digital landscape and ability to seamlessly integrate various marketing channels to create cohesive, effective campaigns that resonate with target audiences
- Have experience leading cross-functional agile teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and multi-channel marketing programs.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate marketing strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Have exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and managing high-performing teams and building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Have a passion for innovation and a willingness to embrace new marketing approaches.
