The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within the ERP framework.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define process changes that align with best practices and the ERP system's capabilities.
- Must have direct experience in at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.
- Participate actively in the data migration process, ensuring that data is accurately extracted, transformed, loaded (ETL), and validated in the new ERP system.
- Conduct spot checks and reconciliations to ensure data integrity post-migration, identifying and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with IT and business teams.
- Document current state workflows and design optimized future state processes that enhance efficiency and system functionality.
- Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and external ERP consultants, ensuring that requirements are well understood and translated into system configurations.
- Develop and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate ERP functionality before deployment.
- Develop and deliver training materials and workshops for business users to ensure smooth ERP adoption.
- Investigate system-related issues during implementation and post-go-live, performing root cause analysis and proposing sustainable solutions.
- Ensure smooth integration of ERP modules across different business units, particularly Manufacturing, Finance, Sales and Supply Chain Management.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis, process optimization, and ERP implementations.
- Must have hands-on experience in an ERP implementation or migration project, including data migration validation and spot-checking.
- Strong background in testing ERP configurations, troubleshooting migration issues, and ensuring post-implementation support.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline, is an asset.
- Relevant ERP certifications (IFS, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) or CBAP, ITIL are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) for data reconciliation and migration validation.
- Expertise in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or BPMN software and documentation standards.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages is an asset for migration validation and data integrity checks.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly for troubleshooting ERP migration and system integration issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with technical teams, business leaders, and ERP consultants.
- High attention to detail, particularly in data validation and accuracy during ERP migrations.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and support high-impact ERP initiatives.
- Salary Range:
CAD 90,000–120,000 per year
