Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the administration of Price’s IT security infrastructure. This role involves monitoring security systems, responding to security alerts, assisting in the implementation of security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems, and assisting in the development IT security policies.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

• Monitor Security Systems: Regularly check security systems and logs for unusual activity.
• Alert Response: Assist in responding to security alerts, including investigation and mitigation.
• Security Audits: Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• User Support: Provide support to users regarding security-related issues and best practices.
• Documentation: Maintain and update security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
• Training: Assist in conducting security awareness training for employees.
• System Updates: Help in applying security patches and updates to systems and applications.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Educational Background: Active in a degree or diploma program related to Computer Science or Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Certifications: Preference will be given to those with (or working towards) relevant certifications like CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).

Preferred Experience:

• Internships or Projects: Experience through internships or academic projects related to IT security.
• Knowledge of Security Tools: Familiarity with security tools and software.
