Our newest attraction, the Wild Rider Mountain Coaster, offers guests an exhilarating descent through breathtaking alpine scenery. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Mountain Coaster Attendants, playing a pivotal role in both the construction and operational phases of this exciting ride.
Job Summary:
As a Mountain Coaster Attendant, you will be instrumental in bringing the Wild Rider to life, from its initial construction to daily operations. This dynamic role combines hands-on building tasks with guest-facing operational duties, ensuring the coaster is both safely constructed and delivers an unforgettable experience for our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction Phase:
- Assist in the assembly and installation of the mountain coaster track and related structures.
- Perform tasks such as painting, restoration, and basic maintenance of coaster facilities.
- Operate machinery and tools, including power tools and company vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and distribute building materials and equipment to appropriate locations as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring safety standards are met.
Operational Phase:
- Oversee the loading and unloading of guests on the mountain coaster, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of coaster machinery and track, accurately completing safety logs and reporting any irregularities.
- Provide guests with clear instructions on ride safety protocols and proper use of the coaster.
- Monitor the ride in progress, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and addressing any issues promptly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience and provide information about the resort's offerings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lift operations, amusement ride attendant roles, or construction is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights exceeding 20 feet, utilizing safety harnesses and fall protection equipment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
