About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Transformation Analyst (BTA) to join our team! The BTA will contribute to the OCS’s strategic business transformation goals through the creation of process documentation and maintain artefacts regarding business policies and procedure mapping to workflows, SOP’s, and roles / responsibilities. The individual will focus on the assessing confluence of people, process, and tools on transformation projects to identify improvement opportunities or impacts. The BTA will support the Project Sponsor and team throughout the end-to-end lifecycle of an initiative, from scoping business cases to defining requirements to conducting a feasibility analysis to help with the delivery/continuous improvement of new capabilities.
About Your Day
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships
- Model and assess current processes through facilitation of brainstorming workshops with stakeholders, as well as analysis of existing documentation
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources to understand stakeholder needs and build a full picture
- Facilitate discussions to identify target operating models and document the conceptual target state and its processes, addressing current state gaps, needs, and pain points
- Gather requirements and document detailed business requirements, use cases and user stories
- Elicit, document, validate and prioritize functional and non-functional system requirements in collaboration with business clients, end users and project stakeholders
- Apply expert elicitation techniques to probe, challenge, and understand business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop a case for change, taking into consideration people, processes, and technology
- Influence and provide advice to business and IT stakeholders based on a view of the full cross-functional picture
- Support or participate as needed in developing high-level rough order of magnitude cost estimates for project execution
- Conduct presentations regarding assessment findings/recommendations, project status and current issues
- Ensure project delivered on time, on budget and within quality targets
- Support implementation teams through execution phases to clarify and address gaps in business requirements while maintaining a customer focus
About You
- Completion of Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related area of study OR equivalent combination of experience and post-secondary education
- 3 – 6 years of relevant experience preferably in retail or regulated industries (banking, telecom, health care, public sector).
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives with delivery operating in Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP)
- Experience in writing use cases and business requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience developing processes flows using BPMN 2.0 Standards
- Experience with business capabilities mapping
- Experience in Consulting or a professional services environment is preferred
- Good understanding of ERP architecture / retail capability model is preferred
- Qualifications in Lean / Six Sigma designation is an asset

About the Job
- This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. The current in office requirement is a minimum of 3 days/week (may be more depending on business needs). The OCS office is located near York Mills and Yonge Street. However, OCS reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.

Compensation
The target hiring range for this position is $85,000-$95,000. This is a pay grade 6 role, with a salary range of $ 71,066.63- $106,316.64. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role,
