About the Role

We’re looking for a Vendor Lifecycle Specialist to join our Merchandising team. The Vendor Lifecycle Specialist will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of vendor contracts, including renewals, document collection, and updates. They will maintain accurate records and create tracking systems for active and inactive Licensed Producers (LPs). The role will involve leading the execution of SOPs related to LP insolvency, credit risk, and insurance, ensuring data accuracy through regular audits. They will oversee the offboarding process for LPs, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

 

The Specialist will also handles the onboarding of new LPs, executing agreements, and actioning system setups. They will act as the central point of contact for LPs, maintaining positive relationships and supporting audits. Additionally, they will recommend and implement process improvements and cross-train with the Master Data Team.

 

The role requires a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and effective communication.

 

About Your Day

  • Lead the execution and workflow for various LP insolvency, credit risk and insurance related SOP’s
  • Lead the lifecycle of vendor contracts, including MSA renewal, document collection, and document updates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all vendor contracts and related documentation
  • Be a subject matter expert and create a tracking system/tool to identify active/inactive LP’s
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of LP information records through regular audits and quality checks
  • Lead the cross functional workflow for vendor offboarding; LP initiated, or OCS initiated, termination
  • Ensure a smooth and secure transition, minimizing risk and disruption to business operations
  • Be the central point of contact for Licensed producer Onboarding
  • Execute Master Supply Agreements
  • Work with legal to address any contract-related updates
  • Onboard new suppliers to the Sale of Data program
  • Coordinate cross functional set up in a variety of systems
  • Update and maintain standard operating procedures related to vendor onboarding/offboarding and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key LP’s, acting as the primary point of contact for all vendor related documentation
  • Support various audits, providing support and documentation
  • Recommend and implement improvements to vendor management processes
  • Cross train with the Master Data Team and provide support as needed during busy periods

About You         

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Analytics or equivalent combination of experience with completion of post-secondary education
  • 3+ years of experience working in retail operations, merchandising, eCommerce, or cannabis industry
  • 3+ years of project management, program management, or business operations experience.
  • The ability to assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively and handle multiple deliverables
  • Experience using ERP or PIM software, experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 is an asset

About the Job

  • This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. The current in office requirement is a minimum of 3 days/week (may be more depending on business needs). The OCS office is located near York Mills and Yonge Street. However, OCS reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time.

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $64,273 - $75,000. This is a pay grade 6 Bargaining Unit role, with a salary range of $ 64,273 - $78,554. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
