About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Director, Enterprise Project Management to join our Strategic Planning and Transformation team with the Ontario Cannabis Store.  In this role, you will be responsible for charting the evolution of our enterprise project management capabilities and leading the team that provides these services throughout the organization.

 

The Senior Director, Enterprise Project Management will support the delivery of the multi-year project roadmap that contributes to the achievement of OCS’s strategic plan. This includes evolving the governance structures, process design and measurement framework to support the outcome of balancing quality, speed and cost across the project delivery lifecycle. You will be responsible for leading a team of program/project managers, business architects, and process engineers to support strategy execution.

 

About Your Day

  • Lead the Enterprise Project Management Office in planning & executing the multi-year project roadmap in support of the OCS Annual Business Plan (“Corporate Strategy”)
  • Partner with Organizational Change Management (OCM) to further integrate project change management into the project delivery model
  • Partner with the Strategic Planning team to establish seamless transition from strategy to execution
  • Leverage effective communication skills to build buy in and trust across stakeholders from all areas of the organization
  • Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, flexibility and results orientation within the department and throughout the OCS
  • Leverage expertise as a transformational architect to support project stakeholders in reducing the complexity of large complex problems and the associated exercise of structuring project deliverables into effective and efficient delivery schedules
  • Use your process design expertise to constantly look for ways to improve project delivery performance

About You

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field of study. Master’s degree in a related field of study is preferred 
  • 10 plus years of experience in developing Enterprise Project Management capabilities in a highly regulated industry
  • Minimum of 5 years leading a team, with experience in recruitment, performance management and developing talent
  • Ability to reduce complexity and convey clear, concise written or verbal communication
  • Demonstrated experience to plan and forecast accurately
  • Proven Change Leadership & Resiliency

 

About the Job

  • This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule. The current in office requirement is a minimum of 3 days/week (may be more depending on business needs). The OCS office is located near York Mills and Yonge St. However, OCS reserves the right to change this policy and its office location at any time

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $165,000 - $195,000. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
