Learning & Development Field Trainer
The Learning & Development Field Trainer plays a key role in boosting company productivity by equipping employees and their management teams with new skills and knowledge. This is achieved by leading workshops, webinars, and leading new restaurant openings in an engaging and motivating way.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Leading new restaurant opening processes, including budgeting and administrative support.
• Mentoring and supporting new managers through their training.
• Evaluating trainers to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with field teams to assess training needs and schedule sessions.
• Conducting webinars, workshops, and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Assisting the Executive Chef with menu launches and developing training materials.
• Collecting feedback on the effectiveness of training resources and adjusting as needed.
• Supporting the Learning & Development team with administration and updating the learning management system.
Job Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience in leading new restaurant openings.
• At least 5 years in a restaurant management role.
• Committed to self-improvement and supporting the development of others.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and sets a positive example.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced organizational abilities to manage multiple assignments effectively.
• Experience coordinating training events within a corporate environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to travel (Canada and USA) for restaurant openings, training events, conferences, and meetings.
