Job Summary:
A Banquet bartender Prepares beverages and/or serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests during banquet/catering functions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Set up banquet bar including all liquor, mixes, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies; inventory unused liquor and beverages.
- Greeting guests and providing service of beverage to guests.
- Providing superior guest satisfaction on a highly consistent basis.
- Ensuring quality control of product provided.
- Monitoring drink levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ordering of all relevant supplies from the storeroom.
- Ensuring proper cash out procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
- Managing internal and external customer feedback.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Abilities
- Experience serving in a catering/banquet type environment.
- Food Safe certificate preferred.
- Serving It Right Certificate is required (can be completed before first shift).
- Excellent customer service skills, organizational and communication skills.
- Personable, friendly and outgoing.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- High energy and strong work ethic.
- Some evening shifts end after transit has stopped so vehicle is preferred.
Working Conditions
Banquet Bartender need to be flexible in their working hours as most events and functions occur on evenings and weekends. They should be expected to work between eight to 12 hours a shift. They may be expected to arrive early in the day to take care of set up and leave late in the evening after cleaning is complete. You Must be able to work on your feet and must be able to lift 20lb+ as required.
