Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Journeyman Commercial Truck Mechanic to handle diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on-highway tractors, trailers, and commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on commercial trucks and trailers
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Complete CVIP inspections and documentation (must be certified)
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Collaborate with parts and service teams to ensure timely workflow
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and development

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or Commercial Transport Mechanic (Required)
• Valid CVIP license or must be willing to apply for (Required)
• 3+ years of experience in commercial truck repair
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 an asset)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Team-focused attitude and commitment to quality
