We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team and provide building maintenance across multiple facilities in Burnaby, Coquitlam, and Pitt Meadows. In this role, you will be responsible for electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting, including working on light fixtures, switches, heating systems, and general building functionality. The ideal candidate will manage maintenance tickets, collaborate with a supportive team of trades, and ensure safety regulations are always met.

This position pays $42.00/hr.

Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm

Anticipated Start Date: Mid-January 2025

 

In this role you will:

  • Lead projects and install new equipment as required
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and wiring
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
  • Operate scissor lifts to safely access and work in elevated areas
  • Collaborate with other trades to foster a team-oriented environment
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

 

You have:

  • Multi-skilled background including experience in electronics, electrical, mechanical, structural, and piping
  • Valid Trade Electrician certification
  • At least 5 years of experience with exposure to commercial and industrial environments
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems (preferred, but not required)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong aptitude for learning and understanding operational processes
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach
