Facilities Services Worker / Janitor - Afternoon Shift

Are you passionate about maintaining clean and efficient workspaces? If so, we are seeking a dedicated Facilities Services Worker to keep our buildings and facilities in top condition.

We are a well-established and growing BC business and one of Canada’s leading manufacturers of nutritional supplements, dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of our customers.

Monday to Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm (40 hours per week)

You’re good at:

• Building Maintenance: Power washing the exterior, cleaning windows, using the scissor lift to clean ceilings, using the ride on cleaner to deep clean warehouse and production floors
• Thorough Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining various floor types and exterior grounds.
• Event Support: Assisting with company event setups and handling various facilities requests.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring all areas, including stairs, wash bays, lobbies, and exterior grounds, are spotless.

What you have:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year in janitorial or custodial work; familiarity with GMP environments is a plus.
• Physical Strength: The ability to lift 50+ lbs. is a must for this role as there will be a lot of lifting of equipment, etc. 
• Skills: Good verbal and written communication in English, strong interpersonal abilities, and effective in both independent and team settings
