Job Summary:

 

The Account Manager, International Export Sales provides sales support to the Sr. Director, International Export Sales by ensuring sales Growth, coordinating customer requests, analyzing inventory, and works with inside key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product to international customers. They will be responsible for the growth, the brand awareness in the assigned country and ensuring that customers are aware of all product lines and will introduce new products as they are developed, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven Core Values such as Sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Growth of sales and brand awareness
  • Liaise with customers on all administrative requests such as purchase order submissions and inquiries, stock, shipments, quality and regulatory, inventory analysis, marketing, accounting, etc.
  • Introduce new products to customers as they are developed
  • Ensure that key accounts are aware of all product lines and have sufficient knowledge when making product selections
  • Initiate and organize advertising programs with key accounts
  • Coordinate all aspects of new product launches between internal departments (Regulatory Affairs, New Product Development, Marketing) and customers
  • Provide Monthly Stock and Marketing Reports to customers
  • Collect market intel which will help both our company and our customers, in order to better service our customers
  • Review new potential customer queries and proposals
  • Work with Procurement on an ongoing basis to help reduce existing costs
  • Assist in building new product proposals and projects
  • Liaise externally with provincial/federal entities for attestation and for product legalization
  • Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director of International Export Sales or as requested by customer

 

Requirements:

Technical

  • A completed degree in Health Sciences or International Business is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is essential
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one or more foreign languages, as needed to support customers
  • Demonstrated track-record of success in multi-national business development role
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Natural Health Product knowledge
  • Understanding of Syspro an asset
  • Understanding of processes related to the New Product Development or Regulatory Affairs departments an asset
