QC Sampler - 6 month contract

Job Summary:
The QC Sampler samples incoming materials in support of quality activities, while taking into consideration the company's commitment to our seven Core Values such as Sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.
Job Description:
- Assess containers and packaging received for quality issues and report to Manager as required
- Sampling of Raw Materials (RMs) and packaging components received from suppliers
- Visual comparison of RMs and packaging components against established specifications
- Submission of samples of RMs to internal lab and external labs for testing via Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Inputting of raw data into LIMS
- Environmental Monitoring of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) areas
- Maintain and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform verification on some production and lab equipment
- Report all quality issues to department leadership
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Technical
- Excellent communication in the English language, both written and verbal
- Experience in QC sampling and/or sterile environments preferred
- Proficient in data entry and the use of computer programs such as Word and Excel

- Works well under pressure and can prioritize multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
- Highly motivated to improve process efficiency and accuracy

- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to foster positive working relationships with stakeholders across the organization
- Able to perform all physical aspects of the job, including bending, frequent walking, reaching floor to above shoulder, twisting of wrist, gripping, and grasping, ascending and descending to and from elevated areas, and lifting up to 12kgs (occasionally up to 23kgs)
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
