Come grow with us...North American Stamping is looking to hire. We are looking for an Advanced Process Engineer to join our team! As a key player of the Sales Department this position is responsible for assisting in the development of processes through the use of design & simulation software. Supporting the NASG team on high potential new business, running simulations, developing the best possible material utilization options and developing process layouts.

The position duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with setting up tool geometry, sheet bodies and running forming simulations.
- Part model changes when required by customers.
- Analysis simulation results & recommend changes to Advanced Process Group Leader
- Assist sales teams as required with customer technical presentation preparation.
- Using software provided estimate blank sizes for customer quotes.
- Present material nesting options for best process while minimizing material usage.
- Work with engineering teams to make changes to simulations & verify results as needed during die development.
- Track all research & development data, ensuring it is well documented in NASG standard format.
- Manage changes in an orderly fashion always ensuring the files are properly filed and up to date
- Work with all employees to continuously improve quality and production
- Suggest methods of improvement (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan)
- Interpret prints for tooling modifications, accuracy, and/or improvements
Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
- High School Diploma
- Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in use of 3D CAD programs, preferred NX
- Knowledge with Auto Form simulation software
- TS16949/ISO14001/Designer Baseline Training
