Reporting directly to the Strategic Accounts Executive, the Inside Sales Manager is a key team player with three main areas of responsibility: strategic account support, leading the sales cycle and business development. This role is primarily responsible for managing the complete sales cycle for Gateway’s strategic accounts, which include cold food chains and multi-site retail customers. Secondarily, this role will provide sales support to our strategic accounts team and the customers they serve and thirdly hunting for opportunity within existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the assigned Strategic Accounts Executive; understand each account KPI’s, contracts and workflow process.
- Accountable for supporting growth, retention & service of all strategic account’s customers.
- Close sales and work with the SAM through the closing process. (Follow up on Quotes Repairs/Replacements internally)
- Support the SAE on workflow process, onboarding support and manage day to day flow of customers KPI’s.
- Answer customer questions and follow up call questions and liaising the customer with the proper Gateway resources when required where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively across all Gateway departments as required to achieve sales goals, including Billing and Accounts Receivable
- Work with the Strategic Account manager to identify and hunt new strategic accounts and find existing opportunities within existing portfolio.
- Support work order flow, including and not limited to dispatch, technical updates, quotes and billing.
- Support the strategic accounts executive on administration, special projects, and customer requests. Tasks included would be work order management, project management of small projects, running various reports, preparation of presentations, drafting proposals, and ensuring the customer experience is a positive one.
Other required duties may be assigned that fall within the parameters of the primary responsibility of the position.
What you will bring:
- A post-secondary degree preferably in Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience working with Salesforce is considered an asset.
- Customer Portal experience is considered an asset.
- Experience in the HVAC or refrigeration industry is an asset.
- Experience with Data mining and Power BI is an asset.
