Production Team Lead


Location: Greater Toronto Area, Ontario

MOBIA is currently recruiting a Production Team Lead to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. This role will involve direct supervision of team members, coordination with other departments, and hands-on problem-solving. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing teams. This role will require weekly travel to Montreal until the end of January 2025 for paid training.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of assembly/production technicians
  • Maintain a well-organized workflow for the team
  • Confirmed material receipt against packing slips
  • Manage Kanban inventory & ordering
  • Provide support & guidance for your team (info, tools, clearing roadblocks)
  • Report issues to your manager (submitting claims, missing material, replacement of DOA)
  • Entering data into the project management tracking tool
  • Complete time & expense approvals for your team
  • Hold toolbox/safety talks with your team
  • Maintain a positive relationship with your team, customers, and partners
  • Ability to adapt to variation, problem-solving, logic, etc.

 

Skills/Qualifications:  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Wireless (Telco) experience would be considered an asset
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership position
  • Bilingual would be considered an asset but is not mandatory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically
  • Being bilingual in French and English is an asset.
