About the Role
Mint Health + Drugs seeks a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic and growing team. In this key role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare profession to support medication preparation and dispensing, ensure regulatory compliance, and work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions
- Conduct thorough medication reviews and assessments
- Provide medication management and patient education
- Maintain and document accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
- Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
Education & Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program
- Registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with ACP in good standing
- Current CPR Certification valid in Alberta
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in medication management and patient care principles
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, particularly Kroll
- Knowledge of all applicable legislation and regulatory compliance standards in Alberta
