Position: Rotational Operations Pharmacist
Location: Edmonton Area
Job Type: Weekdays, Full-Time
Pay: $50-$65 Hourly

The Rotational Operations Pharmacist is a key member of the Operations Team responsible for providing relief to pharmacy sites requiring a pharmacist due to absences and supporting process improvement initiatives. This role ensures uninterrupted pharmacy operations, enhancing operational efficiency, and sustaining a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide relief coverage across assigned regions
- Advise patients on prescription medication usage
- Monitor patient medication profiles
- Create and maintain accurate records
- Assist in training and developing site staff
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation
- Communicate with site manager
- Stock of pharmaceutical supplies
- Source contractors for operational needs
- Collaborate on process improvement initiatives
- Conduct informal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Report operational concerns to the Operations Manager and Director of Operations
- Submit reports on audits, process improvements, and KPIs
- Support HR in sourcing, selecting, and onboarding pharmacists
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree
- ACP license in good standing
- APA required
- ISTM preferred
- Authorization to Administer Drugs by Injection preferred
- Valid class 5 driver's license
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience within retail pharmacy is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience of leadership experience is preferred
- Strong organizational and operational oversight skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in managing pharmacy inventory and financials
- Knowledge of Dayforce system is an asset
- Ability to implement and adhere to regulatory compliance
- Experience in pharmacy management and leadership is an asset
- High attention to detail and good judgment
- Ability to travel regionally
