Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Business Development Manager in Eastern Canada to join our dynamic Corporate Development team, to support the continued growth of our nearly 300 acquired Pharmacy locations across Canada! Our Support Office is located in Toronto, Ontario.

Location:

This role is remote, with frequent travel required throughout Eastern Canada, however, travel nationally will also be required at times.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving an acquisition pipeline that supports sustainable growth. The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and achieving our strategic growth objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:

  • Research and identify potential acquisitions, partner opportunities, and markets to explore new business opportunities in the retail Pharmacy sector
  • Develop and implement strategies to create relationships with pharmacies, particularly in Eastern Canada
  • Create new relationships, and build on existing relationships, while working with the Vice President, Business Development to identify accretive locations for acquisition
  • Maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with independent pharmacy owners and and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Understand needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions for independent pharmacy owners
  • Work closely with other members of the Corporate Development team to successfully complete acquisitions

Reporting:

  • Leverage CRM platform to maintain accurate records of Business Development activities
  • Timely reporting of pipeline

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in Business Development.
  • Pharmacy industry experience and relationships strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Provden ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to meet with pharmacy owners and attend industry events
