Human Resources Advisor
THE ROLE

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Our HR Advisor will support a broad range of HR activities including talent management, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, data integrity, and total rewards. They will be a trusted advisor and influencer within the organization and will provide guidance as well as direction regarding the interpretation, administration, and execution of human resources programs.
- Lead, evaluate, assess, and drive all HR programs required.
- Support the talent acquisition activities at the firm including proactive talent sourcing, connecting with candidates in our key hiring markets, interviewing, and driving the employee brand and value proposition both internally and externally.
- Mentor and support managers and employees in their day-to-day activities including coaching and counseling, providing recommendations, and coping strategies.
- Lead, evaluate, and drive the employee engagement program.
- Maintain reporting requirements.
- Review and benchmark internal and external environments to improve the HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance.
- Share HR best practices across all Navacord Broker Partners.
- Other projects as required.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Bonus points for being a whiz with Excel and Microsoft Suite.
- Bonus points for insurance knowledge or industry experience.
- Experience required in HR or a related people or operations function.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Must be approachable and helpful.
