POSITION SUMMARY

LG Canada is currently seeking a Home Appliance & Home Electronics Technical Support Representative to support inbound calls for troubleshooting and occasionally facilitate live in person or virtual webinars. The ideal candidate will have experience providing technical support to technicians through phone or online methods, organizing training materials, scheduling training sessions, and submitting timely reports to management on progress. This position is based out of our Canadian Head Office in North York.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIIBLITIES

  • Handling inbound call volume from LG employee technicians and Authorized Service Centers across Canada
  • Reviewing and approving Return Authorization requests from Authorized Service Centers
  • Supporting Parts inquiries from our Authorized Service Centers
  • Organizing training materials and scheduling training sessions
  • Facilitate engaging classes when required
  • Documenting and reporting field quality issues to the Quality team
  • Required to be knowledgeable of and adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations, both legislatively mandated and as outlined in company policy

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in servicing consumer Home Appliances, including: Refrigerator, Washer, Range, Dishwasher, etc.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Required to always have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and a Skilled Trade Certificate
  • Must possess eagerness and passion to continually learn and evolve new technical skills
  • Ability to communicate in French (Preferred)
