Key Account Manager, Retail

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for revenue generation within Canadian Enterprise Retail accounts, working directly with decision makers at the End-Customer level to promote the adoption of LG Business Solutions products. This individual will also be responsible for internal LG processes, effectively fulfilling the operational needs aligned to the sales cycle.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Quotas & Results:
- Ensure monthly and quarterly targets are achieved
- Prospect within assigned region/vertical
- Develop new accounts in assigned region/vertical
- Strengthen relationship in existing LG accounts
- Attend industry events
- Develop account profile– key contacts/revenue/LG revenue/competitors
- Forecasting 120 days out
- Deliver action plan in region/vertical accounts to ensure sales target achievement
Administration:
- Manage inventory and sell-through activities
- Weekly forecast calls
- CRM management – activity and opportunity focus
- Understand market share within existing accounts and develop action plan to close gaps
- Report to management competitive landscape
- Escalation management for accounts to various divisions within LG, from time to time
Self-Improvement & Training:
- Memorize LG product knowledge and related materials
- Maintain expert knowledge of key competitors in key growth categories
- Keep abreast of industry trends and market intelligence through E-learning, industry magazines, sales related materials, trade shows, etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- University degree preferably in Business in addition to 10+ years’ experience
- Experience selling directly to End Customers in the Enterprise space
- Strong communication, both oral and written
- Proficient in PC skills specifically Microsoft applications with emphasis on Excel
- Able to work independently/remote
- Strong organizational skills
- CRM Management (SalesForce)
- Prior experience in Digital Signage/AV Solutions, as well as direct view LED is a strong asset
