Levitt-Safety has exciting opportunities for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems team in Port Coquitlam, BC.

 
Are you an experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems Technician looking for the next step in your career? Do you take pride in delivering expert service and ensuring critical fire protection for heavy equipment and vehicles? At Levitt-Safety, we are looking for a skilled and reliable professional to join our team and help safeguard our customers through expert fire suppression system installation and maintenance.
 
Your Role & Responsibilities:
  •  Installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicle fire suppression systems and other Fire & Life Safety Equipment at customer locations.
  •  Conduct thorough fire safety inspections and audits, providing expert recommendations for compliance and long-term system reliability.
  •  Deliver site-specific training for equipment owners and end-users to ensure proper operation of fire suppression systems.
  •  Service multiple  brands, including Ansul, Kidde, Fogmaker, and Amerex, with a high level of technical expertise.
  •  Coordinate with the service team to manage scheduling, job assignments, and inventory levels for seamless workflow execution.
  •  Ensure compliance with safety regulations, complete required documentation, and uphold Levitt-Safety’s high standards of quality and safety.
  •  Be the face of Levitt-Safety, building strong customer relationships and ensuring businesses remain safe and compliant.
 
What You Bring:
  •  2-3 years of experience in fire suppression systems maintenance and service.
  •  Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, ideally within automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial environments.
  •  Proven experience working with power and hand tools in a hands-on service technician role.
  •  Strong troubleshooting skills with a commitment to problem-solving and delivering high-quality service.
  •  Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract – travel to customer sites is required.
  •  Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  •  Proficiency with technology for service reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
