Service Technician - Fly in/Fly out
Levitt-Safety has exciting opportunities for Service Technicians to join our team in Val-d'Or, Quebec.
We are looking for enthusiastic and mechanically inclined individuals to join our vehicle fire suppression repair and maintenance team. Based in Val-d'Or, you will join a company dedicated to your growth and development, and build your career through formal technical training and certifications from our manufacturers, as well as hands-on training with our experienced team from across Canada. Your role will involve working on various sites for our clients in the Val-d'Or area, including underground mine sites.

Inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance of vehicle fire suppression systems and other types of fire and life safety equipment.

Fulfilling customer requirements with the highest degree of attention and quality.

Conducting life safety inspections and audits, with value-add suggestions for follow-up and maintenance.

Performing site-specific training for owners and end users.

Being the Face of Levitt-Safety for our customers and their onsite safety needs.
- Experience working in a fire suppression role or equivalent.

Experience, education, or training working with extinguishers, fall arrest equipment and fire suppression systems (such as Ansul or equivalent) is a strong asset.

Bilingual candidates preferred (Basic English skills) Parlez-vous un peu le français? A basic/beginner’s level knowledge of French is required for this role in a French-speaking community. If you have some basic exposure to French and are willing to improve skills through company-paid training… nous voulons vous parler!

Mechanical aptitude, a passion for health and safety, and excellent communication skills are the most important qualifications for our new team member.

A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, coupled with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physically able to work in restricted workspaces, including using ladders and walkways on large equipment
- Company-paid housing and travel to and from your work location.
- Compressed work week schedule of 12 hours/day, 14 days on, 14 days off (Wednesday start)
