Media and Digital Support – Full Time, Temporary Contract (8 weeks)  
Resource Centre – Hamilton, Ontario  

$18.00/hour

Position Description:  This Media and Digital Support position will work alongside the People and Culture team to develop training videos and materials used for staff development.

Location:  1430 Main St E, Hamilton, ON

 

Hours of Work:  Full time, 35 hours per week.  This position is a temporary contract, ending after 8 weeks. *Position length and hours subject to approval by Service Canada.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:  

 

Training Video Recording & Editing

 

  • Setting up recording shoots with content experts for internal training videos
  • Editing videos
  • Uploading training videos and supplementary training materials into Learning Management System

 

Training Material Management & Administration

 

  • Helping develop training materials
  • Graphic and format design
  • Administrative support on documentation and forms

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:  

 

  • University or college degree (or working towards) in Communications or Digital Media is preferred
  • Commitment to promoting and demonstrating the vision, mission, and values of Indwell within the workplace and community
  • Ability to work independently, be flexible, organized, responsible, and take initiative.
  • A creative and critical eye
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, Canva, graphic design, and video production
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Sharepoint, Outlook)

Remuneration: $18/hr; hours and position length subject to approval of Service Canada – Canada Summer Jobs.
