USA - Shipper/Receiver

Epsilon is a leader in the Off-Site Construction (OSC) industry, delivering mechanical/electrical-centric systems in a modular, prefabricated form, optimized for a streamlined on-site completion by us or others.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proper and safe packaging of customer items.
• Verification of pieces being sent or received.
• Doing a bill of lading for shipments and keeping other paperwork neat and organized
• Being customer oriented on the phone
• Track and organize all inventory
• Ensure all product is identified properly with appropriate customer information and documentation
• Receiving incoming product utilizing proper documentation
• Ensure proper levels of shipping and receiving supplies and packaging are maintained
• Keeping the area organized and free of non-needed obstructions.
• Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

• Ensure all product is shipped on time; notify management of any issues
• Ensure all product has been inspected and a dock audit has been performed
• Ensure all product is packaged for its safe delivery to the client
• Work in a safe manner following Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain an excellent attendance & punctuality record

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Possess a suitable combination of education and experience (1-2 years) to meet the requirements of this position
• Able to use general, impact, power and air tools and airlines where needed
• Able to operate a fork truck and/or lifting device(s)
• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Have good customer service skills & conflict resolution abilities
• Able to listen and communicate effectively – by phone and in person
• Have excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented with excellent follow up skills.
• Required to be self-motivated, enjoys responsibility and accountability, good people skills are a must.
• Ability to assess a situation and find the logical answer.

• Employ a friendly, outgoing personality, respectful of co-workers and ability to work with individuals to carry out goals of the organization

• Perform work standing up in work cell for 8-10 hours per day and up to 6 days a week.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move material during the course of performing his/her job
