Expansion/Seismic/Isolation Coordinator

Job description:

This position will focus on the expansion/seismic/isolation area of the commercial construction industry. The candidate will help organize, coordinate and manage the various aspects of our Expansion/Seismic/Isolation projects to help ensure project completion and success. The candidate will also help manage the timelines and expectations for customer

Responsibilities:

• Procurement of expansion, seismic and isolation components
• Coordination (including shipment) of expansion, seismic and isolation components
• Inventory management stock items
• Maintain accurate files showing revisions and status of submittals
• Coordinate with other departments on multi-disciplinary projects to ensure the projects are moving forward as planned.
• Maintain regular communications with team members to ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties.
• Build strong relationships with our clients and contributing to the continued growth and success of the company.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Education in Engineering Technology, Mechanical or other similar technical diploma is an asset but not a requirement
• Bilingualism (English/French) will be considered an asset
• Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Focused and disciplined worker
• Positive work attitude with a knack for ‘figuring things out’
• Scheduling & calendar management skills
