The Construction Manager is responsible for managing the building process of homes in their community from start to finish; working closely with the homebuyers, trade partners, and inspectors to ensure each home is completed on schedule and achieves the highest quality of workmanship.

 

This role is located in San Antonio, TX.

 

What We Are Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in residential construction
  • Knowledge of critical path scheduling and the necessary sequences of construction leading to accurate production schedules
  • Strong customer services skills, problem solving and organizational time management skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; demonstrated ability to collaborate and manage relationships

What You’ll Be Doing Each Day

 

  • Manage construction of multiple homes from site preparation through closing while maintaining high level of quality control
  • Create and adhere to production schedule to ensure timely project completion
  • Communicate daily with vendors and trade partners to confirm schedules, validate completed work, and troubleshoot as roadblocks arise.
  • Maintain a safe work site by implementing safety policies, enforcing safe work habits, and observing OSHA regulations.
  • Work closely with homeowner in the course of completing orientation and closing walks and warranty service requests.
