Your Impact at Empire 

The Director, Business Analysis & Delivery is responsible for building, configuring, and evolving end-to-end technology solutions that enable Empire’s business groups. Projects are delivered in close collaboration with project team members and business partners using waterfall or agile methodologies.

In addition to technology solutions, the Director, Business Analysis & Delivery will facilitate discussions across divisional stakeholders to drive consensus and standardization on technology solutions. This role will also provide consulting support to consolidation of reporting programs on all acquisitions and integrations.

 

This role is located at our Empire Canada Head Office in Vaughan, ON

 
What We Are Looking For: 

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • PMP, CSM, CSPO Certifications desired
  • Experienced with Agile development tools such as DevOps, JIRA, CA Rally, TFS, etc.

 
Bonus If You Have These Skills: 

  • Experience building as-is and to-be process design flows, identifying efficiencies and leveraging the capability of digital resources
  • Understanding of the data and data flow to assist in preparing the road maps related to migration & transformation programs

What You’ll Be Doing Each Day  

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the strategic vision for the Business Analysis and Delivery function, aligning with the company’s overall objectives
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts to ensure high performance and professional growth
  • Business Analysis: Oversee the gathering, documentation, and analysis of business requirements to drive efficient and effective project delivery
  • Project Delivery: Ensure successful delivery of projects and programs by managing scope, timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and external stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize initiatives, and communicate progress
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of business analysis and delivery methodologies
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
