Harvest has an opening for an Electrician reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. This is a full- time position located at the BlackGold SAGD Facility near Conklin, AB. The successful candidate will reside in a camp facility on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, calibration, and repairs on equipment to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget, following technical standards.
•    Optimize electrical equipment performance, lead "Bad Actors" reviews, and ensure equipment reliability and documentation is maintained.
•    Lead and participate in predictive maintenance (PDM/PM), procedure development, and spare parts planning.
•    Use the Hexagon CMMS program for tracking maintenance activities and managing work packages.
•    Update and maintain electrical datasheet files and ensure tools, test equipment, vehicles, and safety equipment are secure and in good condition.
•    Contribute to the development of maintenance strategies, work allocation, and long-term capacity planning to maximize equipment availability and contractor efficiency.
•    Foster a culture of reliability and integrity within Operations and Maintenance and support the Management of Change (MOC) process.
•    Provide input into the annual Maintenance Budget process and maintain required journeyman, safety, and regulatory certifications.
•    Support the Asset Integrity team to ensure the site operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable legislation
•    Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

•    Electrical Journeyman certification or equivalent technical qualification
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance, with a strong knowledge of core craft equipment.
•    In-depth knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, Electrician Trade Regulations, Electrical Installations Code for Oil and Gas Facilities, and the Alberta Electrical Utility Code.
•    Familiarity with budgeting, work planning, and scheduling processes, and proficient in CMMS.
•    CEMS and MARP experience considered an asset.
•    Ability to build effective working relationships with operators, vendors, contractors, peers, and supervisors.
•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
•    Experience in Thermal Heavy Oil or SAGD operations and safety is an asset.
•    Familiarity with facility drawings, equipment specifications, and construction, RFO, or CSU experience is a plus.
•    Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills

•    Self-motivated, open-minded, and results-oriented.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
•    Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
•    Ability to work in a remote camp on a 7/7, 12-hour shift schedule.
